NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science Inc. will be held at Mezzanine 1 &2, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday, 20 March 2010, commencing at 1640.

All Members are cordially invited to attend the AGM.

The AGM will consider the following business:

1. Appointment of Directors

2. Special Resolutions
   • Members are invited to consider, and if thought fit, pass the 3 special resolutions provided with this Notice (each requiring approval of not less than ¾ of voting members of the association who vote in person or by proxy at the annual general meeting).

   • To assist members in considering the special resolutions, an explanatory memorandum to members and a copy of the constitution for Australian and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science Limited is provided with this Notice.

Proxies

A voting member has the right to appoint a proxy to attend and vote by proxy at the meeting. A proxy must also be a voting member of Australian and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science Inc.

A proxy form is provided with this Notice. Proxy forms must be returned to: Leigh Seccombe (Hon. Secretary), Level 7 West, Department of Thoracic Medicine, Concord Hospital, Hospital Road, Concord NSW 2139, Fax (02) 97675090, on or before the commencement of the 2010 AGM.
