The Library Corner this month features more papers from members of the Society - Graham Hall, Elise Chu (ably abetted by Debbie Burton & Kevin Gain), Leigh Seccombe and Lilly Daviskas are all featured. The Calendar of Events has been updated and there are a few changes of dates so check it out to confirm your next regional activity. There is an announcement for the WA TSANZ/ANZSRS Annual Scientific Meeting at Bunbury along with the Annual ANZSRS Symposium. The ASM is the 21st for the TSANZ WA Branch. South Australia have contributed a very interesting case of the month, thanks Beck, and a discussion will follow next month. Train of Thought ponders reaching for the sky.

The Board has endorsed the calling for applications for the 2011 Research Award. Check out the guidelines and complete the application form posted on the Awards page.

The inclusion of photos and graphics in the Regional News contributions has been a welcome change. I would appreciate, however, if photos could be resized to a dpi of 72.(e-mail jpegs or some similar designation most probably). Resolution any greater than this leads to files that are too big and difficult to e-mail once the material is assembled. There is also little point in having dpi's greater than this if the material is to be viewed on a computer screen. I can do the resizing, if you are unable to do it. If you want me to do the resize, I would appreciate getting the photos as individual attachments with instructions where to embed them in your document - happy to e mail a proof to you before posting.

A few photos for the Regional Reps and Board pages have still not materialised so drastic means are called for!
