Mat van Heerden survived his trip to Ho Chi Minh city and has sent the following:
"Just got back from HoChiMinh City, where I attended the Cortex Asia Pacific annual distributors meeting. Statera the new Cardiac Risk Analyser and the new Zone trainer software for athlete training and rehabilitation were introduced. Delegates from Australia (me), Japan, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore attended the three day meeting held by Andrew Pearce (Asia Pacific Manager - Cortex) from NZ, John McCallum from Cortex USA and Matthias Gehrke from Cortex Germany".
I would like to build a Trade directory on the web-site so that current agencies and the most recent contact details are all in one place. This is something that would be fluid and hopefully kept up to date. Accordingly I would appreciate any readers of this page forward me an e-mail with details of useful suppliers and the people to contact. The issue is not so much with the majors but the smaller suppliers are often very useful to us when sourcing odd things for the lab but they can be hard to track down. I would envisage parallel directories for NZ and Australia. Once the information starts coming in then I will have a clearer idea on how to construct such a directory. As with every thing else on the web-site, the utility of the endeavour depends on the contributions from the members.
